Next to the kitchen is a cosy sitting room with wood burner for the winter months, leading to a large dining area and to the main living room with open fireplace and huge sliding windows which can be opened up to create indoor-outdoor living space for most of the year. The second wing of the house has two double, en-suite bedrooms and large built-in wardrobes. One bedroom has a balcony and the other has a Juliet balcony. The garden and grounds have lovely plants typical of the region – and a variety of trees, lime, ancient olive, figs, carobs, pines and cypresses. The whole property is secluded and private, and almost invisible from the road. Only 5 minutes’ drive from the village of Gaucin and 45 minutes to the coast or to the cultural centre of magnificent Ronda.
